General Description

The Account Receivable Specialist serves as a member of the Finance Team and reports to the Head of Finance. The position requires the candidate to support the Accounts Receivable function including appropriate reporting and to support various projects in the Finance department. Results should be achieved through efficient business processes (existing processes and implementation of new processes aligned with business objectives, as well as with ISZL’s strategy) and collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.

The AR Specialist is expected to:

Accounts Receivable

  Manage and control outstanding receivables and due dates incl. dunning process & debt collection
process
  Generate and book invoices and incoming payments
  Cooperate with the auditors in relation to task area
  Handle customer communication (email, phone calls)
  Liaise with internal departments as required
  Reconcile sub-ledger and general ledger accounts
   Support documentation and streamlining all financial processes.
  Coordinate with other departments to increase efficiency and effectiveness, best practice sharing
Support finance projects as needed, leading creation and implementation of new processes as needed

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Commercial degree (profiles E, M) and/or degree as accounting clerk (i.e. Sachbearbeiter Rechnungswesen is an advantage)
    Solid professional background in commercial and/or finance and accounting, as well as 5 -10 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
  Very good user skills in MS Office, as well as very good knowledge of ERP systems (knowledge of Abacus is a plus)
      Independent, pragmatic and structured way of thinking and working
      Strong communication skills
      Very good knowledge German and English both written and spoken
