General Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Swedish Tutor to join our First Language Programme (FLP) for this school year. This is a flexible, hourly-paid position supporting students in maintaining and developing their Swedish language skills.

*This is an hourly contract position only, with no guaranteed minimum hours. It is not a salaried part-time role. It does not qualify for a work permit.

Areas of Responsibility

• Deliver Swedish language instruction tailored to students’ proficiency levels.
• Prepare engaging and age-appropriate lessons and recommend suitable learning materials.
• Integrate elements of Swedish culture and traditions into lessons.
• Monitor student progress and communicate feedback with the FLP Coordinator.

• Teaching qualifications and experience teaching children.
• Experience teaching Swedish, ideally in a first-language or heritage-language context.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness and availability to teach in person at the Baar/Walterwil campus.
• Flexibility to teach during specific school-day blocks.
